My friends and campmates in a grand display of myopic hindsight have allowed me to once again design the shade structure for burning man. This year certain emphasis has been placed on "make sure it works", looks like the partys over. We don't have a reserved spot, still a small camp, but I'll post our loc when we know it so come on by and visit! Look for the large successfully built very functional shade structure!

Bungie announced holograms and Nathan Fillion among other things recently. Last FPS I played with holograms was duke nuke'm 3D, and it was awesome. The implementation sounds solid as well, when activated the hologram runs to the spot you're looking at in a straight line. The static duke holograms were always too easy to spot as fakes.
