So by my understanding of CA and NY law, I can send HBO this letter, "A check will be tendered with a restrictive endorsement and the acceptance and cashing of that check will result in the retroactive and indefinite non-exclusive rights to digital copies of Game of Thrones season 1, consisting of 10 episodes, for personal, noncommercial use." Then follow up with the actual check 15-90 days later, and it'll be binding!
This is sent. And I'll follow up with a check in 15 days, as is the legal minimum, with the restrictive endorsement printed front and back. I'm thinking $21 is fair, thats $3 an episode minus 30% that the distribution network takes. Wonder who I should give the other $9 to?
