Virtual Shackles - Time is Waiting

I ride the bus instead of driving. I turn off the lights when I'm not using them. I don't waste food. I recycle bottles and cans. Since I started doing those things, the earth has not exploded even once. I can only assume that I am single handedly preventing the destruction of the universe. Where's my Nobel Prize?
